Flat Roofs
Flat Roofs From Badger Roofing
Many commercial buildings are constructed with flat roofing. Though “flat roofing” technically has a slight slope to allow for drainage and less pooling, it has been the choice for many commercial structures for over one hundred years. Flat roofs may require additional structural support and are comprised of multiple layers.
Most common in our area are the attractive BUR (Built-Up Roof) systems, which are excellent in terms of water resistance and longevity. BUR roofing has alternating bitumen (asphalt) layers and reinforcing fabric that stabilizes hot tar and smooth stone. Some modern BUR system options may use advanced materials like fiberglass membranes instead of traditional tar paper.
Badger Roofing uses quality Mule-Hide Modified Rubber Products only for our membranes.
